Dr. Maryem ISMAILI

Maryem Ismaili is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Urban Systems (CUS) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Ben Guerir, Morocco.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics and Spatial Planning from Sultan Moulay Slimane University. She went on to earn a Specialized Master’s degree in Geomatics Applied to Geosciences and the Environment (GAGE) from Hassan II University. In 2024, she completed her PhD at Sultan Moulay Slimane University, in collaboration with the National Institute of Agronomic Research (INRA). Her doctoral research focused on mapping soil suitability using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, and artificial intelligence, with applications in sustainable agriculture.

Specialized in spatial data analysis, Maryem Ismaili has advanced expertise in geomatics, remote sensing, geostatistics, and AI applied to environmental management and spatial planning. Her work involves processing, modeling, and interpreting complex geospatial datasets to support decision-making in both environmental and urban contexts.
