Dr. Ayoub Lahlouh is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centre for Urban Systems (CUS), Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). His research focuses on the intersection of geospatial technologies, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and urban health. He holds a Ph.D. in Geography from Abdelmalek Essaâdi University (Tetouan, Morocco), completed within the Laboratory of Regional Planning and Territorial Development, with high distinction. He also earned a Master’s degree in Territorial Development Engineering and Spatial Governance, receiving the Award of Excellence. Dr. Lahlouh brings over six years of professional experience in urban analytics, GIS, and spatial planning, complementing his research expertise.
Dr. Lahlouh has over one year of teaching experience at the Master’s level at Abdelmalek Essaâdi University, where he taught GIS, Smart Cities, and Soft Skills. He brings strong expertise in urban analytics, smart planning, sustainable infrastructure, and digital transformation. Currently, he is engaged in innovative projects that combine AI, GIS, and digital solutions to promote healthier, more resilient, and intelligent cities, particularly in the African context.
